APM Terminals Medport Tangier is a greenfield project under construction, it will be the third container terminal of the Tangier Med complex. New terminal will be a highly-automated facility with up to 2,000 meters of quay. The objective of this position is to contribute to IT implementation and technology integration development from the Terminal Operations System (TOS) perspective based on APM Terminals standard solutions as well as comply with TM 2 terminal specific processes and interfaces/applications. Execution of IT services & projects within the Business Systems & Application area ensuring fulfilment of SLA established with the other functions. Key Responsibilities

• Reporting to Business Systems and Application Manager you will actively participate in the implementation of TOS in alignment with company objectives and strategy, actively participate and contribute in the TOS O&A sessions and learn about business processes to be able to define use cases, define workflows in the system.
• Actively contribute towards the development of TOS implementation documents including reference data configuration and maintenance, workflow mapping as per business requirements, system installation, system testing, and integration.
• Configure, install and maintain TOS, its specific modules and its interfaces with the other applications.
• Provide level 1 issue support to end users at the terminal. Respond to queries regarding status on resolving generic IT and specific business application problems.
• Load specified application packages/patches/releases into computers as and when there are new developments from vendor teams.
• Prioritize reported issues to accurately identify, escalate, and respond to urgent or critical matters.
• With continuous improvement mindset, analyze complex issues before creating/conceptualizing technical solutions and/or processes within the job area, enhance existing day-day modifications;
• Provide input and support to the implementation of application portfolio – TOS, ERP and other terminal applications.
• Ensure compliance with Group Information Security Policy.

Qualifications

• Graduate or colleague studies (MSc/MBA) in Science, IT management or related field.
• Relevant certification in the field of business systems and applications.

Experience

• Requires at least 4 – 5 years of technical application administration or functional administration experience, in a medium to large organization.
• Minimum 2 years of project environment experience in complex IT setup organisation.
• Good understanding of the port/container terminal business and operational processes.

Skills

• Understanding of Terminal Operation System, EDI messaging.
• Requires basic DBA skills (SQL, ORACLE) including querying the database, creating / modifying tables, views, familiar with backup/recovery techniques.
• Demonstrated ability and knowledge to troubleshoot a wide variety of business applications and database related issues as they arise in the workplace.
• Requires thorough knowledge of different Business Intelligence applications.
• Understanding of project management, change management, and escalation processes.
• Strong client service skills and an ability to develop a strong client service organization.
• Must be multi-task oriented with proven ability to manage several activities simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

• Reporting to Infrastructure & Architecture Manager, you will be part of IT implementation team, ensuring virtual systems and server infrastructure supports the implementation and deployment of all needed APM Terminals global application.
• Execute implementation and support of data center components, servers and virtual system infrastructure.
• Ensure the data center infrastructure supports the implementation and deployment of all APM Terminals global application.
• Execute the implementation of information security ensuring compliance from design to deployment of infrastructure, networks, communication systems and Business Application.
• Proactive infrastructure maintenance, support and execute the day to day administration and operations for Virtual Systems and Servers.
• Execute the IT infrastructure and system configuration and specification for deployment/commissioning of container terminal specific equipment with the IT team
• Day to day interaction with the vendors within the project scope in accordance with IT policy and standards
• Execute the deployment and implementation of security and access control systems aligned with the standard policies and regulatory requirements.
• Install, modify and handle minor repairs to personal computer hardware and software systems, and provide technical assistance and training to system users. This includes setup of equipment and application client setup.
• Loads specified software packages such as operating systems, productivity software, database, or other programs and business applications into personal computers/workstations.
• Ensure compliance with Group Information Security Policy and maintain confidentiality of information related to terminal IT.
• Ensure review and implementation of best practices regarding IT solutions.

• Familiar with networks including: protocols, RF, optical ring topology, etc.
