APM Terminals Medport Tangier is a greenfield project under construction, it will be the third container terminal of the Tangier Med complex. New terminal will be a highly-automated facility with up to 2,000 meters of quay. Our Tangier team is currently bringing people, expertise and technology together to usher in a new era in African ports for today’s business world through world-class operations in the safest, most environmentally friendly manner. The objective of this position is to lead the build-up of the operations planning department as well as all related activities during the project implementation and after the go-live manages all terminal vessel, yard, resource and berth planning activities with due regard to safety, quality, productivity and optimum use of staff, equipment and space. Key Responsibilities
Safety
- Ensure that recognized safe working practices are executed for all related processes and maintain effective implementation of safety policies and procedures.
- All the time maintain and promote safety and safe work practices.
During The Project Implementation Phase
- Build, lead, coach and develop the operations planning team.
- Set up all necessary operational governance, policies and procedures, meeting the project implementation deadlines.
- Drive the configuration of the Terminal Operating System and automation modules in collaboration with local and global stakeholders.
- Work closely with the IT and Interface team to facilitate the integration process.
- Drive the implementation of a labor management system.
- Ensure all other terminal planning related project deliverables are met timely and with high efficiency.
After Go-Live
- Manage, motivate and instruct all planning team members. Structure tasks and goals, establish efficient courses of action, set priorities, organize information and efficiently execute daily tasks with considerations to high productivity and efficient utilization of equipment and labor.
- Ensure that data quality used in the planning systems always is of highest integrity, and maintained in a timely fashion.
- Responsible for end-to-end terminal operations planning activities.
- Responsible for Key Performance Indicators reports (i.e. weekly, monthly, year to date terminal productivity).
- Maintain and enhance relationships and goodwill with internal and external customers and vendors.
- Evaluate and resolve logistical problems as they happen in order to meet operational performance objectives and deadlines.

Qualifications
- Requires a bachelor or master degree in logistics, Port operations management or related field.
- Requires in depth knowledge of Navis N4, its associated optimization and automation modules.
Experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience in container terminal operations environment, with minimum 3 years at a management level in a planning department.
- Extensive experience with terminal operations planning softwares.
- In depth hands-on experience of vessel, yard, gate planning and execution.
- Previous experience in an (semi) automated terminal and/or a large transshipment facility is an advantage.
Skills
- Strong leadership skills, capable to motivate employees (peers and reports) in order to achieve project success, create a performance driven organisation.
- Solid understanding of terminal operations and planning systems as well as general office softwares.
- A forward thinking and creative individual who can relate to people at all levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide predictive analytics of AS IS processes and consequently support the prioritization of improvement areas in Operations and Technical planning and execution so as to achieve the targeted productivity and cost management at all times.
- In collaboration with APM Terminals Global Functions, Local IT and Maersk Analytics, deploy available predictive models and tools in TM2 for both Operations and Technical functions.
- Based on the predictive analytics tools, establish a robust predictive maintenance process for all terminal equipment in conjunction with the technical function.
- Support business improvement initiatives by consolidating, modelling, analysing and reporting business and market data sets.
- Handle requests from internal customers on KPI analysis and other data output supporting the business process improvements.
- Drive processes and projects to enhance analytical rigor thereby creating greater value add to the business.
- Map out all data generated by the equipment and available operational systems, establish process and governance around the data processing.
- Manage online document database related to analytics.
- Ensure that data quality used in the analytics always is of highest integrity, and maintained in a quality fashion.
Who we are looking for

- Requires a bachelor or master degree in finance, statistics, business administration or related field.
- Knowledge and experience within the data analytics discipline: theories, methods, techniques and processes.
Experience
- 3+ years hands-on experience preferably in a large organisation, analyzing scientific data, data analytics, machine learning or statistics.
- Experience in using various data gathering and data processing tools and systems.
Skills
- Ability to interpret and communicate data science results and analytics value to business stakeholders.

The Tactical Buyer reports directly to the Supply planner. The position is responsible for processing stock orders and liaising with Suppliers on stock issues, maintaining stock levels, liaising directly with Suppliers to ensure on time delivery for Purchase Orders. You will work closely with various departments to ensure that correct levels of stock are ordered and all queries are resolved. You will be required to work to strict deadlines and work as part of a team. Confident in both telephone manner and the use of computers is a must for this role.
Summary of Duties:
1- Execution of purchase order
- Place & Manage the purchase orders with approved suppliers per appropriate agreements
- Ensure Suppliers provide confirmation/acknowledgement in an accurate and timely manner
- Update system with delivery information as received.
- Manage Open Order Book due/overdue with suppliers
- Execute pull in/push out/cancel recommendations, communicate these with supplier and obtain agreement.
- Work with the supplier to resolve material shortages, escalate within supplier and within Honeywell accordingly in line with Escalation process
2- Standard Process
- Liaison between customer care, demand planners, suppliers, and sourcing organization
- Implement PFEP (Plan for every part)
- Regularly provide suppliers with forecast and communicate forecast changes
- Communicate delivery discrepancies back to supplier
- Active involvement in SIOP phases reporting assumptions during the Supply Review Phase
- Participate with the supply planner to target and implement replenishment programs to improve supply chain agility.
- Provide input to sourcing team the supplier delivery performance measurement
- Promote best practice sharing around replenishment process eg kanban/consignment
- Ownership to resolve and clear all issues relating to invoices on hold due to quantity ,quality and price discrepancy
- Comply with approved sourcing & planning policies and procedures.
- Fully support and following up on HSE requirements in content of position (individual reporting, investigation of accidents and unsafe behaviors, purchasing of chemical materials aligned with approved chemical inventory)
- Fully support and following up on HOS requirements in content of position.
Basic Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in business or technical field; Minimum 3 years of procurement experience,
