- Managing OEM equipment activities as defined in contractual scope of supply
- Insuring vendor compliance to HSSE policies and guidelines: Authorizing Permits to Work and monitoring high risk activities taking place on site. Isolations and Lock Out / Tag out of high voltage electrical systems
- Insuring equipment vendor performs contractual terms as it relates to APMT equipment maintenance staff and handover of equipment and OEM led training certification: Factory held training classes, Electrical, Structural/Mechanical, Documentation and certification
- Managing APMT Cranes (STS, ARMG and SHC) as well as assets required to maintain them in regards to: Tools, Spare parts, Consumables, Equipment maintenance manuals and drawings.
- Ensuring deadlines are met in regards to equipment Delivery, Erection, Commissioning, Testing
- Ensuring equipment is maintained per OEM prescribe maintenance programs
- Ensuring contractual compliance of all vendors and contractors
- Day to Day coordination of Operations and IT activities as it relates to: Equipment integration of IT systems ,TOS & Equipment Operators training
- Day to Day Coordination with Site Manager on: Contractor activities, Equipment suppliers activities & planning, Testing of IT activities and Equipment, Test activities of IT and Operations
Who we are looking for
- University degree in Engineering( Electrical/civil/mechanical/structural)
- Project Management Certificate and project implementation experience will be valuable
- 5 – 7 Years of work experience in a highly technical environment using very heavy automated machineries and preferable container handling equipment.
Requires good verbal and written communications skills, in addition to effective interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Strong leadership skills and ability
- Ability to work effectively within a wide range of cultures
- Requires a high level of planning and organizational skills.
- Requires excellent analytical skills, including the ability to extract, compile and analyze engineering data.
- Requires exceptional time management due to fast-moving, demanding work environment.

- Weekly and daily planning of site activities amongst various disciplines related to civil, equipment, IT, automation and operations.
- Management of access to particular areas after handover by civil contractor to APMT.
- Compliance with HSSE-requirements in all APMT-managed areas through access control and permit-to-work procedures.
- Preparation, management, updating and communication of general site logistic/traffic plan.
- Default contact for assigning vendors work areas under management of APMT and resolving possible conflicts in work areas.
- Ensure readiness of commissioning & testing areas (including demarcation and segregation) for works by IT, equipment, automation and operations teams.
- On-site placement/management of:Commissioning containers, on-site test laboratories, temporary storage facilities, (Jersey) barriers, cones, Fences and gates for access control, Temporary power generators, lightings, etc.
- Day to day coordination with:All Contractors and Equipment/IT suppliers
- All APMT disciplines active on site during construction, installation, testing, commissioning and operations
- Assists the Security department to ensure adequate resources are in place for management of access control
- Procedures for site preparation activities, including related work permits.
- Overall planning control/tracking on site to assure daily compliance with agreed plan
Who we are looking for
- University Degree in Engineering/ technical and a project management certification is desired.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant project delivery experience, preferable in large complex multi-stakeholder projects. 7 years of this experience should be on large, live construction sites. Preferably main contractor site-management experience.
- Technically minded – able to comprehend technical approaches and concepts and to articulate these to a wider audience.
- Good planning and organisation skills and solid analytical capability.
- Strong ability to work effectively in a cross cultural environment. Sensitive to cultural diversity and experience in a multicultural environment, in regard to employees, local authorities and other stakeholders.Hands-on, willing to develop/update plans, schedules and presentations or take up other job related practical tasks.
- Able to build strong working relationships with stakeholders; strong verbal communication and coordination skills are a must-have
