To support our development in Morocco, we are recruiting an Area Sales Professional for our Business Unit: Process and Drive – Digital Factory who will be responsible for the planning and the execution of sales targets and activities in a specified region for the portfolio of a unit in order to increase sales with all kinds of potential customers and to achieve defined commercial targets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Plans sales volumes and potentials of all assigned customers.
  • Provides information via CRM for forecasts and planning and ensure the follow up.
  • Analyzes and evaluates markets (both technology and product portfolio) and needs of potential or existing customers.
  • Spots opportunities for local product and service portfolio solutions.
  • Prepares customer contact, builds and maintains a customer focused network.
  • Prepares / coordinates and negotiates proposals in cooperation with proposal mgmt / other involved professionals and management.
  • Coordinates the realization of assignments, may coordinate and contribute to set up respective product developments, projects or services programs.
  • Completes sales and revenue related key reporting.
  • Contributes to the development of After-Market business for the assigned customers.
  • May act as a point of contact to customers in commercial matters and influences collaboration within the organization to secure customer support.
Profil recherché
  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Electrical Engineering / Industrial Automation.
  • 2-4 years of experience in the same position or equivalent acquired in a multinational environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Food and/or Automotive Industry
  • Minimum knowledge of Siemens Product (SIMATIC, Drives & Automation, industrial networks…).
  • Knowledge of the country-wide Service & Customer Support requirements.
  • Respects internal values and working atmosphere of commitment, team work spirit, openness to new ideas and strong motivation.
  • Strategic skills to make plans and take actions in alignment to the country business orientation.
  • Ability to sell, hard negotiator, with deal closing capabilities.
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written, with the ability to deal with, customers and staff at all levels.

  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience in SAP.

  • Ensures that Siemens Gamesa complies with local Health, Safety and Environmental Legislation, Siemens Gamesa standards and Site requirements on a day to day basis.
  • The person in this position also collaborates with Siemens Gamesa contractors in order to achieve these EHS requirements.
  • Implement project specific EHS Plan and Emergency Response Plan.  Responsible for monitoring and assessing safety performance on site and assisting the Site Manager to implement improvement plans, as well as driving the ongoing Zero Harm safety culture.
