Business Intelligence Specialist
- Duties and Responsibilities
-Design, development, testing and deployment of Tableau Dashboards or similar
-Work under the guidance of BI Lead to create BI dashboard solutions
-Structure ambiguous business problems and recommend visualization solutions
-Leverage advanced Tableau (or similar) functionality (parameters, actions, tooltip modifications, API, etc.) to create analytical dashboards.
-Develop a strong understanding of business requirements; working with business users/ business analysts to define technical and process requirements
-Build effective working relationships with team members
Position Requirements
– Engineering or Business Master degree (or equivalent qualification)
– 3-5 years of experience with Tableau or similar BI tools.
-Proven experience delivering Business Intelligence solutions
-Experience with Tableau, dashboard design and delivery
-Experience with data processing (SQL, NoSQL, R) and visualization programming languages (javascript, HTML5, …) is nice to have
-Excellent problem solving, design, debugging, and testing skills
-Ability to work with multiple different personality types while managing work load within a fast paced, energetic, and dynamic workplace.
DevOps Engineer
Key Accountabilities:
Participates in planning delivery time, code quality, and process efficiency improvement projects
Executes on plan by building coding standardizations and automating processes for the organization
Surveys developers and technical members of the organization
to understand their main pain points in the codingand development process
Collaborates with the rest of DevOps team to deliver consistent
and holistic solution to the organization
Purpose of the job:
Works closely with Tech Leads and developers of various teams to assess existing problems and to come up with process improvement solutions
Identifies bottlenecks in coding development and deployment processes
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of programming experience
Experience in DevOps (e.g., automating IT operations)
Experience in DevOps (e.g., automating IT operations)
Experience working in applications, systems or IT operations
Experience in agile methodology
Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related quantitative discipline
Knowledge:
▪Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills
▪Requires working knowledge of two or more programming languages
▪Requires working knowledge of Linux, Kubernetes, Docker and GitLab/GitHub and elastic search
▪Comfort with frequent, incremental code, testing
▪Brings a high-energy and passionate outlook to the job and can influence those around them
▪Able to build a sense of trust and rapport that creates a comfortable & effective workplace
▪Passion for innovation and “can do” attitude
