Our FAS Division is looking for a Autonomous Production Unit Manager to be based at its Production Site at Kenitra.

 

The role of an Autonomous Production Unit (UAP) Manager is to manage the effective operation of the UAP Team, as well as HR issues for team members. The main mission of the role are to:

  • Follow production plans, as well as Group standard processes; assure feasibility of production plans.
  • Achieve financial targets: prepare and present the UAP budget; manage the actual production costs based on « ideal » costs; maintain product margin, and monitor serial productivity (labor level, material consumption, etc.).
  • Manage the UAP team: assure appropriate staffing, maintain working environment according to Group Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) standards , detect and advise training needs, share information (transparency), participate in career management initiatives, etc.
  • Serve as official plant representative to the customer: meet established customer specifications concerning cycle time, delivery, quality, quantity and costs; implement preventative and corrective measures in the production process to assure that customer demands are properly met; coordinate with client’s quality team to meet all customer standards.
  • Implement action plans in order to improve functionality/productivity and to obtain program and Group objectives; make necessary corrective adjustments.
  • Participate in the creation of Production System Efficiency (PSE) projects.
  • Coordinate resource planning with Industrial Engineering department concerning stocks, equipment, staffing, activities, etc.
  • Maintain dashboard indicators/status reports to monitor lead time, supply-chain targets, HSE performance, etc.

Qualifications

 

The ideal candidate will have/be:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering with a specialisation in Production
  • At least 5 years of production experience
  • 3-5 years team management experience
  • Operational knowledge of Production methods (Kanban, 5S, Hoshin, TPM, GPAO)
  • Minimum bi-lingual (English required)

Our Comfort & Trim Systems Division is looking for a Program Manufacturing Leader (m/f) to be located in Kenitra (Morocco).

The Program Manufacturing Leader is responsible for all the manufacturing aspects of the programs. His/her mission last from the Acquisition phase till SOP (Start of Production) + 6 months.
The main missions of the role are to:
  • Ensure design to manufacturing through concurrent engineering activities with product engineers
  • Lead PFMEA until equipment approval into the plant
  • Respect equipments and toolings budget
  • Responsible of operating standard operating time and associated parts costs
  • Study, develop in detail, validate, release and set-up the complete Production System of the program in the plant: equipment and tool interfaces, layout, process flow charts, material and information flow diagram in accordance with the Group standards and program objectives.
  • Lead parts supply for off tools pre serial build ( from order to deliver into the plant)
  • Implement all changes of the production system related to the product modifications (as of Engineering Change Management)
  • Apply program Management System and Engineering Change Management and Faurecia tools and standards
  • Ensure that manufacturing milestones are passed successfully and on time.
Qualifications

 

The ideal candidate will have/be:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering ; or 5 years’ previous experience as Manufacturing Engineer
  • Minimum two (2) years of automotive experience, in a technical/ engineering function
  • Expérience in the Cut & Sew métier appreciated
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, decision making and communication skills
  • Thorough knowledge of engineering techniques associated with project management
  • Must be capable of working with a wide variety of people from the shop floor to senior managers, vendors, suppliers and customers

Our FAS DIVISION is looking for a Quality UAP to be based at its Sale Plant at  RABAT/ MOROCCO.
The Plant Quality Specialist is responsible for implementing process control programs that will assure production of finished goods that meet or exceed customer-specified requirements. He/she leads continuous improvements by utilizing the appropriate quality tools and provide data analysis. The main missions of the role are to:
  • Conduct multiple projects simultaneously ranging from feasibility phase to post launch quality assessment and throughout production life
  • Facilitate Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) with Engineering in conjunction with advanced quality-planning activities and monitor the status throughout production life
  • Develop, implement and maintain Statistical Process Control techniques
  • Assure compliance of the documented quality system (QS 9000/TS16949) and promote consistency throughout the organization
  • Conduct investigations to determine causes of defects, make recommendations for corrective action
  • Maintain customer complaint log and facilitate and participated in the corrective action process
  • Instruct and train personnel in techniques and use of audit and testing devices
  • Monitor and revise quality documentation as required
  • Visit customers and suppliers when necessary. Acts as a liaison to internal and external customers
  • Review all production methods for compliance to quality standards and for improvement of product and quality standards
  • Perform all responsibilities with QS9000/TS16949 system requirements
Qualifications

 The ideal candidate will have/be:

  • Master degree/ Quality Engineering
  • Minimum of three (3) years automotive experience
  • Strong analytical and proven team oriented problem solving-skills required.

Our FAS division is looking for a Plant Program Team Leader for its Production site at Salé.

The Program Manufacturing Leader is responsible for all the manufacturing aspects of the programs. His/her mission last from the Acquisition phase till SOP (Start of Production) + 6 months. The main missions of the role are to:
  • Coordinate the plant launch teams of the plants involved in the program and to coordinate activities and tasks fulfilment of the Program Manufacturing team
  • Act as the interface between the Program Core team and the plant(s)
  • Ensure design to manufacturing through concurrent engineering activities with product engineers
  • Implement all changes of the production system related to the product modifications (as of Engineering Change Management)
  • Ensure manufacturing feasibility
  • Study, develop in detail, follow-up, validate, release and set-up the complete Production System of production, including but not limited to: the program process flow charts, plant layout, equipment and tools, utilities, material and information flow analysis, supply chain definition, in accordance with the Group standards and program objectives
  • Manage the Production Part Approval Process (including Mass Production Trial and Extended Mass Production Trial)
  • Manage the production launch and support the Production Ramp-up
  • Report all manufacturing risks analysis and their associated action plans and opportunities
  • Apply program Management System and Engineering Change Management and Faurecia tools and standards
  • Ensure that manufacturing milestones are passed successfully and on time.
Qualifications

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in Engineering; or, minimum 5 years previous experience as Manufacturing Engineer

Our FAS Division Comfort & Trim Systems  is looking for a Production Supervisor for its Production site at Sale (Rabat)

The role of a Production Supervisor is to manage the production performance, personnel issues and the Health, Safety&Environment (HSE) standards of several Autonomous Production Groups (GAP). The main mission of the role are to:

  • Lead the Quality Cost & Delivery (QCD) Performance for designated groups:
  • Direct QCD initiatives: set targets, implement plans, track daily results, make appropriate adjustments in resource planning in order to attain desired results.
  • Drive actions for improvement: communicate with the Autonomous Production Unit Manager, Production Supervisors of other shifts, and support functions to ensure a transparent information flow, collaborate to define improvement areas and precise action plans.
  • Manage team performance: know team problems, define areas for performance improvements with team members, drive teamwork, lead problem solving groups, lead workshops on quality improvement methods (5S, TPM, 6M…).
  • Manage the personnel issues of the assigned team:
  • Ensure daily team management: assure appropriate headcount, ensure the respect of standardised work methods, assure presence on the floor to answer questions or address problems.
  • Develop the team: ensure proper staffing, integrate new team members, foster individual development plans, advise and arrange for appropriate training, assure punctual job evaluations, etc.
  • Ensure that working conditions are fully compliant with Group HSE standards: interfere in production line in case of safety risks and drive improvement of working conditions and ergonomics.

Our Cover’s Division is looking for a Plant FES (Faurecia Excellence System) and Productivity Manager for its Plant at Sale (Morocco).
The main missions of the role are to:
    1. At Plant level, provide FES expertise and coaching (HSE, Quality, EE, PC&L and Production system) based on 11 lean manufacturing principles to contribute to achieve operational business targets
       
    • Contribute to the definition of the Plant Improvement Plan to achieve the budget
    • Lead construction and follow up of the FES deployment plan, to support the Plant Improvement Plan (PIP) execution.
    • Ensure understanding at plant level of 18 FES KPIs and the link with P&L results to properly prioritize the FES plan.
      • Provide, according to the needs, FES knowledge and skills to the plant team through training and coaching.
      • Contribute to the application and /respect of FES Principles in Programs from design stage (lean process design, MIFD, validation of Equipment design, cardboard workshop activities, Standardized Work ,OHP, process layout, packaging, etc..).
      • Be an active change agent within his site, by cultivating an FES mind-set / Lean Manufacturing Concept.
         
    1. Accountable for the Plant MOD cost budget construction & achievement, through efficient “MOD cost management” & “MOD cost improvement plan”.
    • MOD Cost Management at Plant level:
      • Ensure routing and coefficient data management methodology is correctly applied and respected, for direct standard and actual Labor cost accuracy.
      • Contribute to MOD budget construction by assuring the total DL cost breakdown is based on DLE, DLP and productivity plan.
      • Ensure DLE/DLP tracking process linked with the DL cost % results, contribute to direct labor cost gap to budget analysis and reaction plan.
         
    • MOD cost improvement:
      • Support SW construction and adherence, development of OHP (primarily GL and Supervisor role and routines), as the main foundations to achieve high levels of operational performance.
      • Support the implementation of  FES improvement tools for production reliability, change over Standards (flexibility), reduction of Line stoppages , Line balancing,  and overall MOD efficiency
      • Ensure identification of MOD “Productivity Potential, validate and animate with all managers their own Productivity Action Plan to achieve DL cost target.
      • Just-in-time production: Contribute to the lead time reduction though the implementation of continuous flow, layout optimization, pull-system and speed up flows by coaching and/or leading FES/Lean principles workshops. 
         
    1. Animate the FES network within his plant as well as  participate in the division network
      • Liaise with Division FES Network to ensure knowledge of Group Standards and best practices.
      • Manage plant FES network through meetings, trainings, projects, sharing best practices
      • Propose and promote best practices within the Division (FES Network)
      • Participate in Division level workshops to test and/or improve new” lean concept” or advanced tools
Qualifications

 

The ideal candidate will have/be:
  • Minimum education level:  Bachelor degree in Business or Engineering
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 3 years of managerial experience (UAP / PC&L / Quality Manager…)
    • Recommended 3 years of working experience within a production environment (e.g. Engineer, Supervisor, Manager level or equivalent)
    • Recognized experience and ability to improve processes and KPI’s within a plant using FES principles
    • Previous plant launch experience and previous management experience is a plus
